Pacific Trash Vortex Could Swallow Rhode Island and Still Have Room for the rest of New England
Home state ramblings aside, I was quite revolted earlier this week to see evidence of a “trash vortex” the size of two Texas’ that is currently swirling in the Pacific Ocean out in the region north of Hawaii. Some Cash for Electronic Trash
One tip I gave was RadioShack’s Trade In program that took your old personal electronic waste, appraised it, and gave you a gift card for the item’s recycling worth. A few weeks ago, I appeared on CBS The Early Show to do a segment on Earth Day freebies. First, the Blackberry. Not much, but $10.52 So, I accepted and moved on.
