As it happens, I grew up in a little farming community in northeastern Colorado—Yuma—where my family owned the local drug store (complete with soda fountain). m a journalist and communicator at heart, and I started working for the local newspaper in Yuma when I was in the sixth grade. We must make our foodshed as local as possible.

The Duke of Cambridge: London’s First Organic Certified Gastropub
had a fantastic time as I always do, and one of the highlights was the amazing meal I ate with Jenn at The Duke of Cambridge, which bills itself as “Britain’s First Organic Certified Gastropub. (A gastropub is a pub that serves food alongside delicious British and imported beers). and Jenn said the salmon was amazing.

Can we shop ethically
When we buy organic or fair - trade food, the benefits are obvious- it’s healthier, it tastes better and we know we are helping producers earn a decent wage. We love the feel good factor that we are supporting our local farmer. Why should we buy an organic T-shirt and who will benefit?
