    Even better was the ABA Bird of the Year and my spark bird, the Green Heron , of which I saw three each morning. There are few birds as stylish as a Green Heron. Both Sunday and Monday mornings I woke up very early and got out into the park before dawn and birded for several hours before the family woke up and got ready to go. Awesome!
