The data released by the institute estimates that nearly 200 million farmers rely on recycled water to sow 20 million hectares, an area ostensibly twice the size of Hungary. Nearly a quarter of Pakistan’s domestic vegetables are grown with waste water. Is it bad…or is it good? A divergence of views for us to consider with the release of a survey report by the International Water Management Institute (IWMI). The survey was conducted in 53 cities around the globe.
