by Michael Smith (Veshengro) Wednesday, February 27, 2019 saw the Garden Press Event held at the Business Design Center in Islington, London (UK) and the event was well attended as far as exhibitors and press visitors are concerned. This is is the first year when the event was entirely organized by GIMA rather than via the Garden Media Guild but, as usual, visitors were made very welcome indeed and the venue is much better than the previous one at Barbican 2.

Earth Day Events in Jerusalem

This year there are dozens of events going on around the country to celebrate April 22, as Earth Day. The festivities kick off tonight April 21 with a gala event. Other events worth noting in Jerusalem is the Cool Globes public art exhibit on the Mamilla Esplanade which portrays large globe structures and new solutions for climate change (see in photo above).

Were you one of the more than 35,000 people who attended electric vehicle (EV) promotion events in 98 cities this past weekend? At the Burlington event, the  Vermont state government announced new financial incentives for EV charging infrastructure. According to reports by local organizers, more than 2,000 test-drives took place at events Plug In Day events nationwide, including 300 at the Sacramento event alone.
