Suds Up With These Healthy Soaps!

Eco Chic

Right now I have Ecover’s hand soap next to my kitchen and bathroom sinks! I’ve romanticized the idea of making my own all-natural soaps for a while now, even giving them out as gifts, but the problem is that I can’t seem to find the time to do it! Making our own cleansing products after work probably isn’t going to happen for most of us. But you can’t just grab just any old soap off the shelf either.

RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show 2012 – Visit Impression

Green (Living) Review

Ecover's “Fantastic Plant-astic” campaign – Ecover was the main sponsor of the RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show this year – could easily be misunderstood by people leading them to believe that the plant-based plastic bottles that Ecover is beginning to employ are biodegradable or even compostable. by Michael Smith (Veshengro) Just like in 2011 I paced my visit to the RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show 2012 over two days, the Press Day and the first official day.

Dioxane is also found in Ecover products and when challenged, the supposedly eco-comscious company, Ecover, refused to discuss it and stated that (1) that “the stuff is perfectly safe” and (2) that they had no intention of making any changes. Green (Living) Review

Whether it is PET made from plants, as in Coca Cola's attempt even though the so-called plant bottle is only 30% plat-based plastic with the remainder being recycled and, predominately, virgin plastic, or Ecover with its bottles which are, basically, a polyehtylene made from sugar cane waste. by Michael Smith (Veshengro) Is the idea of sustainable packaging a possibility or is it but a myth?
