A green resolution for 2010

Green Life Smart Life

Last year on January 1 st 2009 I made it a point to use strictly cloth napkins when in my home. I did my best and have to say that 8 out of 10 times I would use a cloth napkin and even get my fiancé who rarely uses napkins as it is, to join me. Has Global Warming hijacked the environmental agenda?

Green (Living) Review

We are on about recycling and such all the time, and rightly so, for we are running out of holes in the ground where to dump all the trash and waste that we produce, but too many times with reference to CO2 emissions and such and not with regards to the environmental impact that our wasteful lives have. Here 100% recycled could, in fact, be used very well and the same as regards too paper towels.

Living “green” does not have to be difficult and hard

Green (Living) Review

Recycle Probably one of the easiest ways to live green is to become aware of waste. How much of what you throw away can be recycled or reused? With most neighbourhoods offering recycling programs, there is really little excuse to not participate. Donate unwanted items to charity stores; find out what stores participate in e-waste recycling programs and get rid of old electronics that way; return iPods and cell phones to the manufacturer for use as parts.
