Drugstore Eco Beauty: Physicians Formula Organic Wear
The ingredients are of 100% natural origin and many are organically farmed, and the brush is completely recyclable. Like any girl born with naturally pale, sparse lashes, I rely on mascara to keep me from looking like a creepy Children of the Corn extra. And since I’m not a big fan of putting carcinogens and other toxins adjacent to my eyeballs, I am always on the lookout for great natural, non-toxic mascara – and damn, is there a lot of hype for a little drugstore product called Physicians Formula Organic Wear mascara .

Dear Anthropologie,
Tags: shopping Anthropologie Recyclin Dear Anthropologie,
Hello there! You might know me as the crazy guy who stands in the middle of your stores watching your talented set designers put up all those elaborate displays. Just watching, awing, wondering how these artists take everyday materials—like these water and soda bottles—and makes plastic flowers out of them.

(Recycled) Brown Paper Packages
This holiday season, I’ve wrapped my family’s gift using 100% recycled brown kraft paper. Even though I’ve used potato chip bags, old VHS tapes, and Altoid tins to wrap presents, sometimes even I like to edit myself and wrap gifts as simply as possible. In fact, it’s a giant roll of paper that I found in the craft room of my house when I moved in and I’ve been slowly using it up as part of my effort to not waste something useful.
