Eve S. Mosher: Eco Art Visualizing Powerful Intentions
Referencing the time component of the ever-pulsing energy of the eponymous city square, a time-out would open up new perspectives, what Mosher describes as: “to see what exactly are we missing by seeing the ads and not the space between, behind and around them.” She has also retraced the sea level of New York City, projecting a drastically elevated future waterline of a metropolis increasingly flooded as a result of climate change.

New Book I Love
This post is dedicated to a new book I just picked up called “Etcetera” by stylist Sibella Court.
We did a home story with supermodel Angela Lindvall on her tugboat home outside of New York City. But now Sibella has a new book out that is breathtaking and gorgeous. I encourage all of you to pick it up!
I have a weakness for a few things in my life: good wine, a very earthy-smelling soy candle, artery-clogging cheeses and beautiful design books. I

Soho Sightings
So, on a 78 degree Fall day in New York City, what did I do with my friend the style-guru Danica Lo? Tags: shopping New York Cit It doesn’t take very much for me to feel very cold. With dipping temperatures in the East Coast, I’ve been finding myself readying the house as if I’m going to be snowed in for months: stacks of firewood on the back porch, winterizing windows, ordering thermal lined drapes.

24 Hours in NYC
Everybody thinks I live in New York City even though I call Bucks County, PA home. I think the reason might be this: I’m in New York City ALL the time. But as tempting as it is to move back to the Big (organic) Apple, I am quite content to have the space and the land in the keystone state (plus it only takes 1 hour to get into NYC anyway).
Back at the hotel, I did a few hours of meetings, interviews and frantic typing on my new HP netbook The other day, I thought it would be fun to take you guys through a typical 24 hour period in NYC with me.

Eco Fashion on the Lower East Side of New York City: Visit Kaight and Hairy Mary’s
We visited two of my favorite eco boutiques on the Lower East Side (LES) of Manhattan: Kaight (new, modern eco fashions), and Hairy Mary’s (vintage and reconstructed clothes) and talked to their owners about what made them passionate about what they stocked, the environment, and how they chose their wares.
