ended up spending most of the next 20 years living in three communities—one in Toronto that I helped establish, and others in Colorado and southern California that had already been going for some time before I joined. began spending hours each day studying energy history and oil production statistics. That “normal” is gone. Always.

Sugarcane ethanol already meets California low carbon fuel standard, says Brazilian Sugarcane Association
The objective of the LCFS is to reduce by 10% the carbon intensity of all transportation fuels in California by 2020. UNICA develops position papers, statistics and specific research in support of Brazil's sugar, ethanol and bioelectricity sectors.
