The 2050s, we know, will be a watershed era: the decade when, if we're smart, human population will have peaked , a bright green model of sustainable prosperity will be widespread and human damage to the climate and biosphere will have begun to be repaired. That half-ruined planet, though, is our home. and walk away.

Rewilding Canada Through Vertical Farming
I'm not talking here of rewilding in the green anarchist sense , but in the sense discussed in the June, 2007 issue of Scientific American (article is for-pay here , but a short summary can be found for free here ).
